Barista

• Job type: part time (16-25 hours per week, some of the shifts during weekends)

• Shift duration: up to 8 hours

• Shift times:

  • If the Barista is scheduled for morning-afternoon shift, then the shift will start 30 minutes before the shop trading hours. 

  • If the Barista is scheduled for afternoon-evening shift, then the shift will end 30 minutes after the shop trading hours. 

• Who we are looking for:

  Part-time Barista with previous experience.

  Good communication skills with fluency in English. 

  Should be able to communicate effectively with team members.

  Friendly attitude.

  Free coffee drinks in the store while you are on shift 

• Main Duties

  Prepare workstation before start and after end of the shift. 

  Accept morning deliveries.

  Start with pastry product arrangement for the shop 

  Welcome and assist customers with their orders and queries

  Ensure coffee station is cleaned. Garbage bags are out of collection

  Check status on coffee cups, cutlery, ingredients (sugar, milk, non-dairy alternatives),

  Raise the urgent ordering issues with Executive Pastry Chef

  End of the day: shop cleaning duties and shop close up. 

  Further role will be discussed during the induction week.
